Gála TE was established in June 1998 by Kuzma Péter and Salamonné Kuzma Renáta dance pedagogies and professionalist dancers in order to popularize ballroom dancing, to promote the useful free time of the youngsters’, to develop the motion culture of the youth. The dance culture should medicate the human contact and the code of conduct.
In our club, there are three dance pedagoguies: Kuzma Péter, Salamonné Kuzma Renáta, and Tóth Mónika. During the formation trainings an important role via the stretching of the dancers. The main targets of the club are the enrichment of the social and cultural life of Zala county.
One of our pride is the event called the Day of Dance, which used to be held annually in the Hevesi Sándor Theatre at Zalaegerszeg. As we mentioned above, an individual compeition used to be held called „ Gála Kupa”. Another important competition, which we organise is Zala Open International Latin and Standard Competition.
Nowadays more than 170 dancers pursue ballroom dancing in our club in a wide variety of ages, from 6 to 22 and we organise dance courses for young children and adults. The education of dance is based ont he ages and on the level of knowledge regularly in a determined number of lesson per weeks. For our supplies, our dance courses are a good chance to find new talents and the newcomers come from the ballroom classes of Keresztury Dezső ÁMK.
